Erik Doty | ChFEBC^℠/FRC^℠

Erik H. Doty, ChFEBC℠, of Conway, South Carolina is a former Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator and a former Postmaster with the United States Postal Service for a combined 35 years of federal experience. During his tenure with the United States Marines, he has taken on critical assignments as a helicopter pilot, Human Resources Officer, Legal Officer and Operations Clearance Officer. While a Postmaster in the Postal Service, he was the manager of the 3rd largest facility in New England and was a Master Instructor helping educate new supervisors. He understands, having experienced it first-hand, the frustrations of federal employees over the lack of education offered.

Erik has served as a board member for the local business association, the local education board and the local cable advisory board, as well as having been a Loaned Executive for the United Way and a youth sports coach. He achieved the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America as an Eagle Scout and became a Scoutmaster.

A graduate of Ithaca College, Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and earned his Master of Arts in Management from Webster University. Erik also graduated the prestigious Legal Officer’s Naval Justice School in San Diego with honors. He is a Certified Life Coach with the Coach Training Alliance. His parents and siblings were educators, and Erik has chosen to continue the tradition of educating others. You will often find him in the kitchen learning new recipes or experimenting with old ones. If he is not in the kitchen, he’s reading an old classic or watching old black and white movies.
